update on Theme Park
Hi Ya'll...just a little update...I was at the canal last night in N. Tonawanda,where they have free outdoor concerts, Wed. and Sat. nights, to hear a couple good bands, and but who should I run into, but Richard Burch himself! (for those who don't know, he's the president of Oz Central who is trying to bring the oz theme park here) I was surprised to see him there, and of course, I had to "corner" him for info. on the park. He said things are still "looking good", but also told me that all the stuff our town supervisor had told me, weren't exactly the way it was....they haven't closed on the land yet, and it sounded like all the funding isn't a "done deal", like I was told, and all studies weren't done I guess either, like I was told they were...(am going to "choke" our supervisor next time I see him) I think he just told me what he thought I wanted to hear...who knows...but anyways, Rich says they'd like to have stuff done and going ahead by January???? who knows....darn...this is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!! (I know...it's a short drive....hahaha...beat ya to it Deb!((hugs)) Soooooooo here we go...waiting, waiting, and more waiting! he gave me his email, so I told me if I send him a msg, I hope he replies and keeps me up on whats going on...stay tuned!!!!!!!!!
